John W. Tympanick, CPA, MST led the drive for the conversion of LLJUA to the Hospitality Mutual Insurance Company. He was named President of LLJUA in 2004.

He previously served as Chief Financial Officer, joining the LLJUA as controller in 1991. Before working at LLJUA, he was the Assistant Controller for Lube 495, Inc. of Braintree, a franchisee of Jiffy Lube. He also was a regional accountant for American Cablesystems, Inc. of Beverly, which is now part of Comcast. He began his career as an accountant with Mark Alpert, CPA in Needham.

He earned a bachelor’s degree from Merrimack College in North Andover in 1984 and an MST from Bentley College in Waltham in 1999. He is a certified public accountant. He played amateur baseball in Arlington for the Inter-City League and was captain of his collegiate team. He coached Little League in Plymouth for seven years. He is a member of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Dana C. Marchant, Vice President of Claims

Dana C. Marchant joined Hospitality Mutual after serving as Director of Field Services at Renaissance Alliance Insurance Services in Wellesley. Before that, he was Vice President, Southern New England Claims, at One Beacon Insurance Co., CGU, Commercial Union Insurance Co. of Foxboro, where he was responsible for three claims branch offices. He served in various other positions with Commercial Union, including Claims Manager, Claims Supervisor and Claims Adjuster.

He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Sandra Haley, CPCU, CIC, CRM Vice President of Underwriting and Marketing

Sandra Haley has 29 years of experience in the insurance industry. Before joining Hospitality Mutual, she served as Commercial Lines Underwriting Manager for Harleysville Insurance Company in Worcester. Before that, she served as Assistant Vice President at Allied American Insurance Agency in Natick. She also served in various executive positions at Lumber Insurance Companies in Framingham, including Vice President - Underwriting, Vice President - Administration and Assistant Vice President - Lumber Operations.

She earned her bachelorís degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, Certified Insurance Counselor and Certified Risk Manager.
